Moving Out

Now that I'm moving out of my shithole apartment, I'm going to be without Internet for a little while. That means I won't be able to keep up my billion blog updates a day, or chat on AIM.

On the plus side, I'll be living with Jeff and Alex, as opposed to Count Chocula and Mini-V. That means less STDs and less tripping over short people.

In between now and then, though, I'm going to have to find somewhere to move my shit. Alex offered some help, as did my MQP partner a while ago, so hopefully they can save my ass.

So, next time you guys hear from me, I'll be posting from a NEW PLACE!

Orange

I'm home in Orange for the weekend. It sucks. In part, because I've got no computer. In part, because I have nowhere else to go and no active friends here. But mostly, it's because this is my last weekend before the WPI summer term begins. I need to take five more classes before I can graduate.

My trip to Vermont earlier this week, however, was rather nice. I had people to hang out with, good TV, and a quiet place to sleep.

I'll just make the best of this weekend. Meditation, reading, couch potating, and the like will consume my time. However, this microscopic keyboard is already making my hands sore, so this entry will be cut short.

Memes SUCK!

Don't you guys hate chain letters and the like?
  1. Reply with you name and I will write something about you.
  2. I will then tell what reminds me of you.
  3. If I were to apply an o'clock to you, it would be...
  4. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
  5. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.
  6. I'll then tell you something I've always wondered about you.
  7. Put this is in your journal/blog.
  • Church of Virus: The chain post above made me read a little about memes, and I found this page. Another interesting philosophy.

With Freeth

I just got the new Nine Inch Nails album, With Teeth. It's very good except for a couple songs, but that's the case with almost any album. There's a .torrent available at UnrealTorrents - it requires registration, but that can be easily bypassed with the BugMeNot Firefox extension.

Since this is Reznor's post-rehab album, I was concerned that it would suck big time, as many artists do once the drugs are gone. However, it still has the distinctiveness that made Pretty Hate Machine a sweet album.

I went to Phi Sig Kap's "Rasta" party last night, and it was great. They had a good hippie band, and it kept going strong late into the night. A good change, because all I did all day beforehand was surf the internet looking for stuff to download.

MQP DONE!

I AM FINALLY DONE WITH THAT GOD-AWFUL PROJECT!
No more MQP for Justin. Guess what I got?
